Buns

We have a new member to the Myers family. His full name is Oscar Bun Myers but we call him Buns. He's such a spoiled little guy already. It was funny when Shawn and I went to go see him for the first time. I told Shawn that I will most likely fall in love with him and sure enough I did. But he's worth every big bill we paid. :)

The painting picture is Buns fun time with paint. Well he didn't exactly enjoy that but we all thought it was funny and we all had a great time doing it as a family. We all splattered paint on a canvas and put it in a box and we all watched as Buns made his art work. It was a blast.

My Bday

Forgot to mention I had a WONDERFul Birthday thanks to my loving Husband. When we went to Nebaska Furniture Mart to pick out our appliances for our house he bought me a new laptop. So he is going to use my old one for work realted stuff. And of course we still have the house computer but Alex is on that thing all the time. LOL So on my bday we went to Olive Garden for dinner and then we went to the Casino. Wonderful dinner and the Casino was not nice to me at all. But the most important thing is that I had a great time and it was spent with Shawn and Alex. Thank you guys for a great Birthday.

We are moving .....

Well we finally found a new house and are closing June 17th. I can't wait. We have been house shopping since Feb. and we finally found one. It's a 3 bedroom with two bathrooms and we are going to finish the basement ourselvs. That's the part I think will be a fun project for us to do. Alex has decided that he wants his room to be green and yellow he's a Greenbay Packer fan. As for Austin I am not sure what theme he is going with. He said anything sports related. As you can tell I can't wait to paint and decorate our house. I LOVE to paint and am very creative. We are also having a 12x12 concrete pad poured in the back yard for our hot tub. That'll be the next thing we go shopping for. I would have to say that the part of picking colors, tile, vinyl, carpet and lights were all a bit stressful. I wanted to make sure everything matched. Hubby let me pick everything out. We went to the house the other day to see how things were progressing and the ceiling fans, tile, vinyl and the carpet were all in. Hubby said I did a great job and he loves my 648.00 upgraded carpet :) So in 10 days we get the keys and I start moving. YIPPEE! Well Alex and I are off the movies well we rented one. It's called "Grace is Gone" so chat later. I will post a pic of our new house in a few ...

Sat night fun

Well last night was a pretty good time after all. I really wasn't up for going out but I felt that I needed to since my friend Jenn is getting married next Sat and I am a part of the wedding. It's been well over ten years since I have been in a wedding. Am I looking forward to it not really but the best part will be spending time with my hubby that evening and we will have both boys so we'll have fun I am sure. Jenn was funny last night I have never seen her that intoxicated but we all had a great time. After leaving the bar at 2 something in the morning I went to Belton and saw Shawn. We talked for a little bit then I went home to bed. LOL

I Did it !!! Yippee !!!

Ok so I bowl on Sunday nights on a 36 week long league and I had to share the great news. I bowled a 223 tonight and was highly proud of myself. Now if I could just keep doing that I'd be even more happier. LOL !!! It's quite funny because Shawn and I bowl on a Tuesday night league and on Tuesday he bowled a 221 so I got him by two pins. High five for Danielle. LOL Anyways have a great week and with any luck I will bowl another 200 game very very soon. Wink Wink.

Family is sick

Well I must have had some kind of Flu last week cause I think I got Shawn sick. Last Friday he got home from work around 7:30a.m. and it hit him hard. He had a 102 temp and had the body aches. I finally got him in to the Doctor on Tues and the Doc said that he had the Flu. Shawn got it alot worse than I did. I think I have him convinced that the shot is worth getting that is if it can protect you in all the many ways. LOL So after him being sick my son wakes up on Monday with a 101 temp and has been out of school all week long. That would normally be a kids wish is to stay home but not when you are sick. But Shawn is better now and is back to work tonight so I am sitting home all alone. LOL Alex is with his Dad and I think he's coming back tomorrow night to stay cause his Dad is going to Las Vegas. So lets hope for a better week and that we all are feeling better.
